In February 2013 Andrew Palmer a North Harbour Table Tennis player appealed to Table Tennis NZ (TTNZ) a decision of the North Harbour Table Tennis executive (24th January 2013) who imposed a ban of 24 months and financial penalty. The North Harbour Table Tennis decision was based on allegations laid by the North Harbour Table Tennis executive as described in a letter dated 26 October 2012. On 13th October 2013 TTNZ ruled that the appeal brought by Andrew Palmer be allowed in whole. TTNZ quashed all decisions of the North Harbour Table Tennis executive on all allegations made and ruled that the decision be set aside, unbanning Andrew Palmer. All documents submitted by Andrew are attached below. North Harbour Table Tennis has refused to enforce the decision of Table Tennis NZ. Andrew has since left North Harbour Table Tennis. North Harbour Table Tennis is no longer affiliated to Table Tennis NZ. |
